Installing an Auto Deploy server
VMware vSphere Auto Deploy server as a solution is not available as a separate download. It is packaged with the vCenter installation image. The Auto Deploy server can be installed either on the same machine running the vCenter server, or on a separate machine deployed specifically for its purpose.
How to do it…
The following procedure will guide you through the steps required to install Auto Deploy server:
- You can start the installation wizard by clicking on the Install button on the vSphere installation DVD welcome screen, to bring up the vSphere Auto Deploy install wizard.
