We have been passionate about virtualization for many years and have been paying attention to everything going on in the field. Once again, we found ourselves impressed by the newest version of VMware and the possibilities it offers. With vSphere 5, VMware demonstrates anew its ability to innovate and offer solutions that push the limits in terms of availability, performance, and flexibility of use. Yet this rapidly evolving field, with its many functionalities, can be confusing. For this reason, it seemed important to us to synthesize, in book form, the information essential for properly comprehending this technology, showing how to use it in an efficient manner within the datacenter.
