In this chapter, we covered storage counters. We cover both centralized storage and distributed storage. In 2016, the adoption of distributed storage will continue its rapid rise. I hope you can see that it requires a different approach with respect to monitoring and change your practice accordingly.
In the next chapter, we will cover the last of the infrastructure elements by diving into network counters.
