Summary

We started this chapter with an introduction to NSX Edge, and later, we covered routing protocols and NSX Edge services, use cases, and a few design considerations. This was certainly a lengthy topic, and the whole purpose of explaining the topics with a few labs and topologies was to make it as informative as possible. I strongly believe that in the near future, we will see lot of new features getting added to NSX Edge services. For example, NSX Edge being a Perimeter Device, we would be more than happy to see WAN acceleration features or Policy Based Routing.

With the skills that we have gained so far, we are good to start with our next chapter, on NSX security features and design decisions. We will have a close look at NSX security policies, ...
