To configure a Universal Distributed Firewall, the following prerequisites must be satisfied:
- User with NSX Enterprise Administrator or NSX Administrator role
- NSX Managers in both vCenter domains must be deployed and configured for Cross-vCenter NSX
- ESXi hosts in vSphere clusters have been prepared for the NSX Distributed Firewall
- Virtual machines must be present in both NSX Manager domains
