How it works...

The process of attaching virtual machines to their respective VMs is straightforward: you select the VMs and the vNICs you want to attach to a universal logical switch, which is represented as a dvPortGroup. The process is explained in Chapter 2, Configuring VMware NSX Logical Switch Networks.

A caveat of attaching VMs in a Cross-vCenter NSX topology is that you must attach the VM from the NSX Manager vCenter domain where that VM resides.
