Validating VXLAN and VTEP configuration

Follow these steps to validate the VXLAN and VTEP configuration:

  1. Navigate to Networking Security | Installation | Host Preparation and make sure the VXLAN column for the vSphere cluster that you have configured shows Configured with a green tick:
  1. Navigate to the Installation | Logical Network Preparation tab | and VXLAN Transport sub-tab. In the center pane, expand the applicable vSphere cluster and verify that Switch (vDS), VLAN, MTU, VMKNic addressing, Teaming Policy, and the number of VTEPs shows the correct configuration:
