To understand the different configuration menus, the following points will detail each one and why it is required:

  • Service Monitor: Defines the probes that will be used to check whether a Pool Member is healthy or not.
  • Server Pool: Pool of servers that will be used in the load balancing configuration.
  • Server Pool Member: The individual member that belongs to a server pool.
  • Virtual Server: An abstract of the application service that is being load balanced. It is where you configure which pool and application will be load balanced.
  • Application Profile: Configuration parameters for certificate, protocol/port, and persistence of the connections.
