How to do it...

The NSX Manager upgrade is performed through the NSX Manager web interface. Follow these steps to upgrade the NSX Manager:

Log into NSX Manager web interface via your web browser.
On the NSX Manager Virtual Appliance Management homepage, click the Upgrade button.

The Upgrade NSX Management Service menu will display the Current Software Version with the build number. Click Upload Bundle to upload the tar.gz upgrade bundle file:

On the Upgrade window dialog box, click the Choose File button, locate the VMware-NSX-Manager-upgrade-bundle-releaseNumber-NSXbuildNumber.tar.gz upgrade bundle file, and click the Continue button ...
