How it works...

The universal logical router operation is like that of the local distributed logical router, which has two main components. The first is the DLR kernel module which runs on all hosts that have been configured for the universal transport zone and the second is the control plane component, which is the DLR control VM. To verify that the UDLR has been deployed correctly to hosts at either site, you will need to SSH on to the site's local NSX Manager, and execute the command show logical-router host <HOST-ID&gt; dlr <DLR-ID&gt; brief, once you have found the DLR-ID and HOST-ID.
