Configuring an SNAT rule

The following steps detail how to configure an SNAT rule on the ESG:

  1. Log in to the vSphere web client via a web browser.
  2. Navigate to Networking & Security.
  3. Select NSX Edges and select the newly-created edge: Chapter5.
  4. Under the Chapter5 configuration, navigate to Manage | Settings | NAT.
  5. Click Add to create a new NAT rule and select Add SNAT Rule.
  6. Select the Uplink interface to apply the Source NAT rule to.
  7. Configure the remaining parameters as per the following screenshot:
  1. Click Publish Changes to push the configuration to the ESG.
