When deploying the distributed logical router with the control VM, you will notice that the status field could have the designation of either active or deployed. The meaning of each status is as follows:
- Active: This means that in the NSX Manager domain you are viewing the DLR from, there is no UDLR control VM deployed in vCenter as a VM but that the UDLR instance is enabled on ESXi hosts in that domain.
- Deployed: The UDLR Control VM exists in the NSX Manager vCenter domain you are viewing the UDLR configuration from. Typically, this is the primary NSX Manager.
