Verifying the prerequisites for endpoint monitoring

Before we can start endpoint monitoring data collection, we need to make sure all the prerequisites listed in the Getting ready section have been satisfied:

Verify that the Guest Introspection Services is installed, up, and running by navigating to vSphere Web Client | Home | Networking & Security | Installation | Service Deployments. Refer to Chapter 6, Configuring VMware NSX Distributed Firewall (DFW) and SpoofGuard, for information on how to deploy Guest Introspection Services:
