The NSX Manager virtual appliance comes with a default admin user account which cannot be disabled. The password to log in as an admin user account and the password to enter privileged mode (enable password) is set during the NSX Manager OVF deployment, as shown in the following screenshot:
Additional user accounts outside of admin can be created through the CLI and the same user can also be granted for vSphere web client and REST API call access. The creation of additional CLI user accounts will be covered in this chapter.
