Implementing vRealize Operations for Horizon

This recipe will review the steps that are required to implement vRealize Operations for Horizon.

Getting ready

The following items are required to implement V4V:

  • vSphere hosts and storage resources with sufficient capacity to host the V4V platform. These requirements are described in detail in this section.
  • The vCenter IP pool is an IP pool required during the V4V virtual application's (vApp) installation process. Consult the VMware vCenter Operations Manager (VCOPS) vApp Deployment and Configuration Guide (https://www.vmware.com/pdf/VCOPS-vapp-582-deploy-guide.pdf) for instructions on how to configure an IP pool. The IP pool does not need to be enabled, but it must be created.
