Appendix A. Additional Tools

Every VDI architect has their own preferred set of tools. This toolset may include I/O stress test tools such as Iometer (available at http://www.iometer.org/), the VMware Fling (the OS Optimization Tool found at https://labs.vmware.com/flings/vmware-os-optimization-tool), or certain Visio stencils.

This appendix provides a few recommendations for tools that can be used to help in the design process and configuration of the VDI solution.
