  • As you'll learn in Chapters 5 and 6, you can also edit the current picture in Edit View.

  • You can display a color dispersion histogram and any EXIF camera data that's stored with an image by clicking the Show/Hide Histogram & Camera Information icon (the beanie beneath the picture).

  • You can also open any selected picture in another program, if you like. You might want to do some advanced editing in a program that has different features than Picasa, for example.

    To open all selected images in your default editor/viewer (Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, for example), choose File > Open File(s) in an Editor. To use a particular editor, right-click a selected image and choose Open With, followed by the program name. (Recently ...
