Chapter 3. Viewing Photos
While organizing and sharing your photos are both important, it's likely that the first thing you'll want to do with Picasa is learn the different ways you can view your pictures. Picasa provides several different viewing options, as well as tools to find precisely the images you want to view.
In this chapter, you'll learn to work in the Picture Library—setting thumbnail properties, sorting the Folder List and individual folders, searching for images, and selecting files. You'll also find out how to open images for viewing, change the display mode, run a slide show, and use Timeline view to look at photos in date sequence.
