Summary

Classes that exhibit “significant” dynamic behavior are analyzed further by creating statechart diagrams. This type of diagram shows all the states of an object, the events that the object receives, and the resulting actions that are taken. State transition events along with their accompanying actions are considered to take zero time and cannot be interrupted. States, along with their accompanying activities, can be interrupted.
