Before you read about the query-by-example tool’s internal details, you should understand what the tool looks like to the user. Example program CustomerGrid, shown in Figure 12.1, demonstrates the tool. If you have access to the Internet, take a few moments to download the example code from the book’s Web site so you can experiment with the tool as you read about it.
