What's Next

In this chapter we have looked at a few more advanced issues related to developing Web applications. We have looked at examples on how to bind data controls and how to configure some of the more advanced controls.

You also have learned about state management and what are the available options to implement it. You have seen the advantages and disadvantages of each method of managing state.

And finally we constructed a Web user control and learned the steps required to implement it, as well as to use it.

In the next chapter we will look briefly at Web Services: what they are and what you need to know to implement one. We will use a few simple examples to illustrate how to develop and use Web Services.
