XSL Transformations

XSL (eXtensible Stylesheet Language) is very useful for generating custom displays based on XML. If you don't know XSL already, we encourage you to learn more about this powerful technology as it is being leveraged more and more by maturing applications.

XSL is used to transform XML documents into another XML document or another format such as HTML. The XML document is used as a data source for the stylesheet. The stylesheet uses the XSL language to select content from the XML document and to output the content in another format. The format is totally defined by the stylesheet.
