Understanding the eXtensible Application Markup Language
In Windows Presentation Foundation applications, the user interface is defined via the eXtensible Application Markup Language (XAML), which is a markup language that allows defining the interface in a declarative mode and that derives from the XML language. This markup language is revolutionary because it allows the separation of the roles of designers and developers.
