Shared Projects

Shared projects are new project templates that easily allow you to share code, resources, and assets across multiple project types. Shared projects were introduced for the first time with Visual Studio 2013 Update 2, but they were intended for supporting universal Windows apps development only, and they were not available in Visual Basic. In Visual Studio 2015, shared projects come to Visual Basic, too, and they can be consumed by the following project types:

Image Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Forms, and Console apps
