Exporting Extension Methods

You can create libraries of custom extension methods and make them reusable also from other languages. This could be useful if you need to offer your extension methods to other applications written in different programming languages. To accomplish this, you need to be aware of a couple of things. First, the module defining extensions must be explicitly marked as Public, and the same is true for methods. Second, you need to write a public sealed class with an empty private constructor, because the CLR provides access to extension methods through this class, to grant interoperability between languages. Listing 21.2 shows a complete example.
