To make your Web application reachable by other users, you need to deploy it to a host Web server, either on the Internet or on a local area network, such as your company’s network. ASP.NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010 enhance the deployment experience for Web applications introducing a new tool named MSDeploy. In this chapter you both recap how to publish a Web application using the old-fashioned ways and how to publish an application using the new MSDeploy.
