Securing Your Domain Controller Virtual Machine Files

Providing secured access to domain controller virtual machines and their virtual files and disks can be leveraged through the use of VMware vCenter access roles. With the use of access controls in ESX 4/vCenter 4, you can give specified users and/or groups the level of privilege they require to maintain the domain controller virtual machines without affecting anything else within the vSphere environment.
