Despite what some presenters seem to think, you can never bore someone into embracing you ideas or purchasing your product. Virtual presentations do not have to be sterile and uninspiring. On the contrary, they can be dynamic and memorable, but it all depends on what the presenter brings to the table. Creating and sustaining motivation and excitement is probably the greatest challenge in a face-to-face, virtual, or any other kind of presentation. Think of the best presentations that you have had the pleasure of being involved in. What did the presenters do to create such enthusiasm? Were you the only one who was excited, or did the other audience members seem to feel the same way?
