Before you can accomplish anything in a presentation, you need to gain the attention of your attendees. An audience that sees no benefit for itself in a presentation is much more likely to tune out that presentation, and so you need to address this concern in the first 30 seconds of your virtual presentation. When you demonstrate to the members of your audience how they will be directly affected by the content of your presentation, not only do you get their attention, but you establish the relevance of what you have to say.
