In this lesson, you learn how to find and view Vine videos on third-party websites.

Why Vine Isn’t on the Web

Surprisingly, Vine doesn’t let you view its videos on the Web. Vine’s identity is as a mobile service, so that’s how it intends its videos to be viewed—via the Vine mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Oh, Vine does have a website. (It’s here: www.vine.co—not www.vine.com.) But, as you can see in Figure 19.1, it’s primarily a gateway for downloading the Vine app, accessing Vine’s help system, and reading about new events in the Vine blog. There is no way to find or view videos from the Vine website.
