Saving Your Work

As you work, Avid saves the bins in your project at timed intervals. Because your clips and sequences are stored in bins, this means that all your work is regularly saved. It is also possible to save a bin, or the whole project, manually. Select a bin and in the file menu is an option for ‘Save Bin’. Select the Project or Composer windows and the file menu option changes to ‘Save All’ – in this case your settings are saved, too. It is worth doing this before leaving the edit suite, even for a few moments.
