While this may make up the majority of your work as a compressionist, video delivered in real time online is growing exponentially. Viewers spend much more time watching live streaming video than on-demand video content, with the length of time varying by device. According to data gathered by Livestream, people spend an average of 2.8 minutes watching on-demand videos on mobile devices but spend 5 minutes on live streams per session. On tablets (which are called out separately from phones in this survey), on-demand video gets about 4 minutes of viewing time, while live streams earn more than 7 minutes. ...
