Raising money from a venture capitalist has been compared to getting married. The closing has been compared to the wedding ceremony. After the wedding, when the honeymoon is over, the two of you must make a life with each other. During the next three to ten years you will be working with the venture capitalist, not so much on a day-to-day basis, but in regular sessions.
