Cranes, Jibs, and Arms

The following pages list descriptions and specifications of the cranes, jibs, and arms used in the industry. The following guidelines are recommended for usage of this equipment:

1.  Cranes, jibs, and arms can be set lower or higher depending on which base, dolly, tripod, or other crane they are being used.

2.  Some of these cranes, jibs, and arms may look short, but they may be the type that have kits or extensions to lengthen their reach or change from remote operation to carrying a cameraperson and/or assistant. Read the manufacturers’ specifications carefully!
