Appendix

Extra Information and Resources

Throughout the book we gave several examples of existing social media platforms and software tools. However, we barely scratched the surface of what is available. In this appendix, we list several more platforms and tools that you may find useful and point you to resources where you can get even more information.

Social Media Platforms

Hundreds of social media platforms exist, a few of which we list in Table A.1. This list is barely exhaustive but should help illustrate the diversity of social media platforms. For more information, check out the source that we used to fill out Table A.1. The source is, of course, one of the most popular crowdsourcing platforms in the world, Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_social_networking_websites).
