Synopsis
Sets OS-specific socket options. SO_KEEPALIVE has TCP check clients every 4 hours to see if they are still accessible. TCP_NODELAY sends even tiny packets to keep delay low. Recommended wherever the operating system supports them. See Appendix B, for more information.
