11. Managing and Editing Your Photos
This chapter covers viewing, organizing, editing, and sharing photos in iPhoto.
In this chapter, I give you all the fundamentals of working with iPhoto: how to import photos and view them in various ways; how to annotate and flag photos to facilitate sorting and searching; how to organize photos by events, faces, places, and albums; and how to share your photos with others. Although iPhoto ’09 is not really a part of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, it is one of the applications in the iLife suite that comes free on every new Mac. In my opinion, this book wouldn’t be complete without discussing the iLife applications, and iPhoto is like the central diamond in the cluster of applications that make up iLife.
