Using iChat and FaceTime

iChat and FaceTime are two applications that you can use to communicate with other users in real time. Although iChat has a more extensive reach, FaceTime is more cutting edge. In iChat, you can communicate with a wider range of people, and you do have video capabilities, but you can’t communicate with iPhones as you can with FaceTime.
