Making the Most of Maps
The movie The Adjustment Bureau, mentioned in the previous chapter, featured a couple trying to keep their romance together, even though it didn’t fit into a kind of cosmic plan for humanity. The couple survived various intercessions designed to keep them apart but eventually got the plan changed so they could be together. It was a fun and interesting love story, but what got me hooked was the Sector Book.
This was a book with a kind of interactive map on it that showed the fate of various characters as they moved through the landscape around them. I kept waiting for the book to show up again in the movie and researched it online ...
