WHAT IS THE biggest thing that differentiates Generation Y from the other generations living in America today?
Stumped?
The fourth word in that opening question provides a big clue: “biggest”!
Born between 1985 and 2004, and currently numbering about 86.6 million souls, Gen Y, also commonly referred to as the “Millennials,” is the biggest generation in the nation’s history.1 By birth numbers alone, Gen Y, with 79.5 million native-born members, beat out the Baby Boomers by 1.3 million, and have thus far added another 7.1 million immigrants to their ranks.
