Next to the motherboard, the chassis is one of the most important components in a server. The chassis determines how many expansion slots and internal drives the system can use and whether the system can be rack-mounted or must use up valuable floor space in a server room. There are more chassis options today than ever before, but some motherboard form factors may limit your chassis selection.
