Untangle's Policy Manager
Untangle's Policy Manager allows you to set different policies based on the username, date, and time. For example, you can provide teachers with a spam filtering feature and allow them to access Facebook and YouTube anytime and use BitTorrent applications, while completely blocking all of this for students, and for the administrative users, you can allow them to access Facebook and YouTube during break time only.
We have already covered a whole set of applications settings for different users or based on different dates and times. A complete set of applications is known as a rack. So, to set different policies for teachers, students, and administrative users, we will need to use three different racks.
