Summary

We learned a lot in this chapter.

Specifically, we covered the following:

  • How to create a basic elevator/door
  • How to create an elevators UT's style
  • How to continuously loop an animation
  • How to continuously rotate an animation
  • How to attach something

At this point, you now know how to create elevators and doors, which will be activated when something is triggered, if the player stands on it, or if the player is within a certain radius. You can also make movers more life-like by adding emitters (water, smoke, and so on)and sounds. In the next chapter, we will be looking at terrain and the different types of layers used.
