A Call to Action: Create Your Road Map for IT Transformation
At the beginning of this book, we recommended that you identify the two or three chapters that address the areas most pressing in your organization today. At the end of each chapter, we prompted you to capture the nuggets, action items, and so on that you found most timely and valuable.
Once you've completed the book, go back through the chapters and select the items you are going to act on. Demonstrate your commitment to your leadership team and staff by initiating activities and showing your willingness to see them through. Engage others in helping you develop strategies and action plans to address these priority items using the takeaways from that chapter. Don't forget to leverage the chapter you read on Change (Chapter 11), and your transformation journey will be well on its way.
