Sorting and filing mail with procmail

One of the handiest things you can do to make your UNIX life easier is to use proc mail (a mail filtering program) to automatically sort and file your incoming mail. Gone are the days of having 427 new e-mail messages clogging up your inbox. You can set your account to sort messages into separate folders, making it much easier to sift through your messages. Plus, you can automatically toss messages from people you don't want to hear from. Hmmm. Now this has potential!
