Setting up calendar reminders

If you're like us, you need help remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and national holidays (otherwise we work right through them!). By typing in calendar whenever you log in, you can get reminders of important dates, as shown in Figure 15.1. This command checks a file that you've set up beforehand and tells you whether there are any reminders for today. Here, we'll show you how to set up calendar reminders.
