Types of Users

To a Unix system administrator, a user is any person who utilizes the resources available on a system. With this definition in mind, you can expect to find several types of users on your systems, including users with little technical expertise who require constant attention, and those who push the performance of your systems to the limit. Yet another type of user has the sole intention of disabling or hacking into your system.
