Emergency Remote Access

What if your network fails, you're 30 miles from the data center, and you need to log in to your router to find out what's wrong? Is there any way to do this short of driving to the data center? Some companies have redundant network feeds from different providers that may even terminate in different cities, so if one link goes down, the other is still available for use. That option is viable, but expensive. Another remote access option is to have two links to your data center, and make one of them a private point-to-point connection to your home office. Using that option, you don't have to sacrifice administrative access from your office if you lose your Internet connectivity.
