Live Tiles
Chapter 1, “Hello, Real World!” shows how to customize your tile in a few basic ways and optionally support different tile sizes. All of the choices are static, however. In this section, you can see how to turn your tile into a dynamic live tile, which can update in a number of rich ways at any point in time. You can even support secondary tiles that provide users with even more information, and can also serve as helpful shortcuts into specific areas in your app.
