Custom USB Devices

The Windows.Devices.Usb namespace contains functionality for interacting with custom USB devices. Custom is the key word here; you cannot use this to communicate with devices that are already well-known to Windows.

Only certain USB device classes can be used with Windows.Devices.Usb APIs!

There are nine supported device classes, and WinUSB must be the device driver for them. Because this support is meant for custom USB devices, it cannot be used with devices that are already supported by Windows, such as keyboards and mice.
